Dear reader,
It’s Monday and at 05.30 the alarm went off. I almost bounced out of bed this morning to make sure I would not have an excuse to not do Cardio. It is amazing to me how much of this process that is pure mental power, the simple (or almost impossible) act of just getting out of bed and heading out to the gym can get incredibly difficult if one “ponders” it to much. Spending 30 minutes on the elliptical felt Ok but the 24 hour protein only diet that started at 16.00 on Sunday might have something to do with it not feeling amazing. I am going to try to eat before my morning workouts because the science around cardio on a fasted stomach and its benefits are highly dubious and the science that it makes no difference at all are very solid.
After a few hours of work I was back in the gym for Traps and Shoulders workout. Managed to increase weight on shoulders when using the Smith machine and since I am on a cut any increase is very welcome.
Looking at myself in the mirror it is clear I have had some sort of body dysmorphia because I really thought I was a lot more “fat less” if you will. It is clear I will be around 145lb once this cut is done and that I must try my bulk diet before using AAS to make sure there is some lean weight being put on or the AAS will have zero effect. I am truly excited that I have gotten this far and can only hope my mental capacity is enough to go all the way.
Stay safe!
