PRIDE Announces Fighters for New Year's Eve Card

While no match-ups were announced for PRIDE's New Year's Eve card, Dream Stage Entertainment on Thursday revealed a murderer's row of mixed martial artists scheduled to compete Dec. 31 at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo.

Each current PRIDE champion (Fedor Emelianenko, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson and Takanori Gomi), one former king (Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira), six Grand Prix champs (Emelianenko, Silva, Henderson, Gomi, Mirko Filipovic and Mauricio Rua), as well as fan favorites Mark Hunt, Josh Barnett, Hidehiko Yoshida and Kazuyuki Fujita will participate.

Holy shit, if that is not one stacked card just by name recognition i don't know what the **** is. Pride always make the NYE card amazingling stacked but this one seems to be going even further.

Great card but damn this probably means Wanderlei is just gonna beat down Dan Henderson again. He needs to be fighting Lil Nog or Arona. Arona beat him 2x so he should have a shot at the true champ..Shogun!

Not complaining because, really it smokes any UFC card in history.

Last time i checkes, Arona dry humped Wanderlei to a Decision win, and then the next time Wand kept Arona from dry humping him to a decision win so using my math skills that makes it 1-1

For future reference, Pride always have a NYE card and it generally has the elite fighters on the card to win the ratings war with K-1.
