    Ultimate fighter escudero vs stephens in april

    Has anyone seen this yet? I think this is a terrible fight for Escudero. Anyone that has seen Stephens fight will agree. I thought these guys were supposed to start with cans?

    Ya Jeremy is a good fighter and a good test for Escuedero. I think an opponent like him is perfect to start off the TUF winners. Not at the top or bottom of the food chain.

    I agree that everyone is there to fight the best and I am certain Efrain has no problem taking this fight it's just that I am suprised Joe Silva gave him such a tough test for his first fight. The 205'ers usually get to beat the shit out of the sacrificial lamb Elvis Sinosic and Bisping got Eric Shaffer and on down the line. Danzig got a brutal test in his first fight with Guida so maybe that is how the ufc will treat winners of tuff from this point on.

    Danzing first fight was Bocek in Montreal. It was really good fight. But Danzig has already fought guys like Sakurai.

    But I do agree that some previous winners were fed cans. I think its better like this, it legitamizes the TUF winners.

    I used to think fighters from the show were a joke but that is obviously not the case. Tuff alums are literally a who's who of mms at this point
