Travis Minor
How well do you think he'll fit in...in the absence of Ricky "Dope Head" Williams. I know the fish are bringing in some older backs...but Minor is the number 1 going into training camp. Think he'll be the number 1 and put up decent numbers?
Need some thoughts. **** keeper leagues!

Why must you do this to me MBH!!! WHY!??!?!

WELLLLLLLLL Personally I think they should give up a 1st rounder for Larry Johnson from the Chiefs..... but thats just wishful thinking.
Travis Minor is a **** good back. I would wait to mark him on your draft sheet though. Wait untill after camp just to make sure they don't pick up a feature guy.

Uhhhh. August 9th- what about injuries in camp and injuries in pre-season. Thats $hitty bro- If it's a keeper I would go ahead and test em bro- Just hope they don't pick up another name you know.

Travis Minor is a 2nd string at best

MBH, why dont u just kick me in the nutz while ur at it... He has above average hands coming out of the backfield, and has quick feet. But sayig that IMHO he's more suited to be the backup. More of a change in tempo back then a starter.

I agree with mass, he's not starter material to me.

DOLPHINS NOTEBOOK
Ricky would 'love' to play for Raiders
BY ARMANDO SALGUERO
[email protected]
Ricky Williams told Sports Illustrated through an e-mail exchange on Wednesday that he would ''love it'' if he were to resurrect his career with the Oakland Raiders as early as next year.
He also said California would be the only place where fans would accept him because there are ``crazy fans who would expect a weirdo.''
Last week, Williams told The Herald he had heard rumors the Raiders would offer the Dolphins a first-round pick to get his rights and called the prospect of playing in Oakland, ``interesting.''
Williams' mother and sister reside in San Francisco.
Williams has not returned to South Florida since announcing his retirement and has reportedly obtained his California driver's license.
As of late Wednesday, he was en route to Asia.
Although Williams seems to be toying with the idea of a future return in Oakland, the idea has complications. The Raiders would have to trade for Williams because Miami owns his rights.
Williams cannot play this season without incurring a hefty league fine and penalty under NFL bylaws.
Dolphins general manager Rick Spielman said earlier this week ''no one'' had called the Dolphins to gauge an interest in acquiring Williams.
