I will also cry if there's no NHL hockey. At least there's some AHL teams I can go and watch in the area, but it won't be the same. I can't watch basketball anymore either, but at least football is good.

The AHL might partially turn into the NHL. Ive heard of several NHLers signing with AHL teams, for the season.

I am a HUGE Philadelphia Flyers fan and I'm devestated that there is no season. I thought hockey guys were different. What's all this Sh$t about outrageous salaries? Every other sport has a cap, if I only made a 100th of an eigth of what they made, I'd be in heaven. WTF!!!!!!

..............big deal. Can't stand the bull**** anymore. Played the game all my life, used to be the biggest fan in the world. I don't care anymore.
Chelios whines and cries about making 5 mill per year but signs with the United league for like 500.00 per week and takes some other fellas job who needs the dough to probably feed his family.
.................i have buddies in the east coast league as well who have lost jobs because of the funnel effect.
............if your still a fan after this you are one jaded dude bro.

too many teams anyways... they should gut out the league and remove all these bullsh*t new teams who can't generate revenue... take it down to 16 teams or 24 teams... thats the only way it would be exciting again... i'm a dihard flyers fan, and have been for years, but watching the games is fun, but since it is 100 bucks for a decent seat at the center, it's hard to get too involved with the team...i'm sure it is like this everywhere else too... jmo
