College football seeking to play proffesional help!!!!!!!
Hi guys wutz up. I am currently 23 years old and just finished my last year of college ball. I have a combine where scouts from nfl, canada, arena, and so forth come to. I have to be in the best shape of my life period. From Dec. 1st that gives me 6 months utill the combine in April. I was looking to start up growth and I felt 6 months would be a good amount of time to see some decent results. I am 6'1 250 17-18% body fat. Have had experince with cylces before. If you guys could help me with anything(diet, cycle suggestion). Anything would be appreciative. I am looking to get to 265 but bring my %body fat down to around 12 Thanks alot.

Wish I could help you on cycles, but I'd just be regurgitating what I've read elsewhere.

If you are at a major university and your "combine" is a pro day, you should be talking to your strength coach for help. Get your body fat % down to get your 40 time down (depending on your position as close to 10% as you can get) What is your position? At 6'1 and 250 I'm thinking either FB, LB or possibly DL? If not, your chances are low. Don't worry about being 265 and huge, you have better be able to move. 6'1" 265 and 5.01 40 will mean that your senior year of college was the last time you will play football, or most likely anyways. Focus on your technique for starts and the first 10 yards of the 40. There is a lot of good info out there for this kind of thing if you don't have a professional around to help you. If you are not going to a pro day I assume you are going to a "scout camp" combine or some other combine that advertises itself as a pro combine. I say this because the real NFL combine is in February and not April and you have to be invited. In that case, save your $, for there will be NO NFL teams in attendance with the exception of a few AFL teams and maybe 1 CFL team. TRUST ME. If your school is not having an official "pro day" find a local school that is and ask if you can participate. Most bigger Universities will be willing to let you participate if you ask nicely and are not a total slap dick.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, NO JUICE. NOT WORTH IT. Juice when you are 30 and not 23. Eat right, eat often and train and rest.
Get some film together. Create a bio. Find an agent if you can. If you really want it, it MIGHT happen.

One cycle is not going to propel this guy to the NFL, CFL or arena ball and if he needs juice to become a elite athlete, then its probably not going to happen. Save all the juicing for the guys that play so called semi "pro" football. I played at an SEC school and out of 85 scholarship guys and the walk-ons, nobody was juicing except for the male cheerleaders and frat boys. We had something called a strength program, never ending supply of food and weekly drug tests. Maybe things are different in the conference you played in but thats how we did it in the SEC. If you think you have to juice to compete with everyone else, you are making excuses for yourself and doubting your god given ability. But in the end its up to him to decide if he wants to or not. I'm trying to help him (and you) make an educated decision and hopefully he will understand that you don't need drugs to make it at the pro level. I did juice and to be honest with you, it didnt really help me get to where I am at now. If anything it made me rely on the drugs instead of the hard work and commitment I had that got me a Division 1 scholarship in the first place. Now I am not saying that all athletes that cycle get lazy, but for ME, I did. But like I said its all up to him or you to make that decision. Good luck to both of you guys and if you do decide to juice , be safe.

bro look at reggie bush. that guy was so juiced up on the juice its insane. I think he was juicin since high school. If not then def. in college. The guy repp'd 225lb like 25x at age 21, and ran an offical 4.3. what??? Ive been hitting the gym hard since i was a toddler, and i wouldnt rep 225lb that many times if my life depended on it. Reggie is just one example, there are plently of other guys that are worse natural athletes, and juice to get a small edge, and end up getting drafted cause of a few extra tackles/yards, or a lower 40 time.
and please dont tell me he isnt juicing. 4 oakland raider players got charged with using 'the clear'. 4 starting players on ONE team using highly potent steroids is already alot/

I played with and know more people in the NFL that did not juice than did. Actuallyt i can only think og one that did. You stats on Reggie Bush are just that stats and dont frown on them because you couldnt do it.
Kurt Schultz ,white guy that played for Buffalo for 10 years dint and when he was 21yrs old his stats where that of regies except FASTER--- yeah he ran a 4.22, 4.20, and a 4.18 40 with the lights.
Larry Allen who is with the 49ers now, who needed his mom to sign permishin slip for him to play because he wasnt 18 years at butte college, old ripped out 225 on the bench like it was nothing, I cant remember the exact number he never juice.
Kevin Sargent for bengals didnt
and Cortez Kennedy did not. Verhesrt didnt
These guys get to the NFL because they are the strongest and fastest period. So dont Knock their number just because there above yours.
Oh yeah and Jason Seahorn did not and he was strong also. and when i says these little guys are stron i mean they are moving wieght that catches your eye when you see them doing it. Like pushing up a 495 full squat or hang cleaning 315 for reps. Like i said these are little guys you expect it from the big ones
Reggie White push pressed >500lb with reps no juice.( Im speculating but I would doubt he juiced)
Entman out of washington did and he didnt last long did he.
The guys your hearing about now are most often than not older and tell ya straight up it was at the end of their carreer trying to keep up wiht the younger guys. Thats what I like about the NFL. Most admit it and give the reason. It was to continue to play the game. It is the only game that there is really no amature status.when it over it over
back to the subject. Mr, if nobody sent you letters or an agent has not called you like the last guy said your gonna have problems.
IMO you best best is to get a playmate that has made it to the show and ask him to call in a favor. He will ask the coach to take a look at you and the coach more often than not will. Dont expect much stay in shape for the next few years ya might get a call. Get your biography in order.
Listen if your 260 today and you show up at fzxckin 280 thell know. after all your not very big to begin with so your gonna have to have some quicks.
For any young kids loooking at this post ill leave you wiht this
if you need steriods in high school what the hell are ya gonna do when you get to college. Dito for college players, If you need it now what are you gonna do later at a higher level.Last edited by 39+1; 12-21-2007 at 09:29 AM.
