    martial arts

So I have a question regarding my m.a. PWO.

    I have m.a. 2-3 times a week.

I train in the gym 3 days on, day off, 2 days on, day off

When I have a day with 2 training sessions, I train in the gym in the morning, and m.a. are at 9 pm, so I have plenty of time for meals, a nap, resting...
I have my PWO after the gym - which is doubled while on cycle - dex/pro

The question is this: I don't know wheter I should treat m.a. as a weight session or cardio session coz its a bit of both.

The m.a. session looks something like this :

    - runnin, warming up, stretching - cardio
    - neck exercises - sort of weight training
    - tehnicque - wrestling or thai boxing
    - 1 on 1 combat
    - pushups, sit ups, squats, all with own bodyweight

So would you have a pro/dex PWO, or a pro/fat shake like after cardio

The cycle is just, a bulker, but I don't mind shedding some fat during my m.a. training.

Sorry for the long post, thnx

i think that if you feel that you are breaking down muscle during this M.A. training then it would be good to have a pro/dex in order to replenish the muscles

Thats the thing - I'm not sure - I'm out of breath most of the time which would make it cardio, but the strength exercises would maybe require (sp?) a dex/pro shake

If your school trains like mine, go ahead and have your PWO afterwards.

Remember when you are doing standup you are using muscles and when on the mat you are pushing and pulling with your arms and legs. But then again i do not know exactly how hard you are pushed etc...

Yes I agree, and when I wrestle I push and pull with everything I got, but its a kind of fatigue that I never expirienced b4, coz I never trained a sport except for bb. In bb I experience a sharp pain in a particular muscle, but this is a general fatigue all through my body.....not like I trained my whole body in a gym, but as if I ran a marathon.....plus with my heart pounding all the time - I always thought meybe I'm wasting what could be a great cardio session with the dex afterwards

The thing that tells me keep drinking the dex/pro is the fact that my back improved DRASTICALLY - shape, cuts, depth, width in just 2 months, and my back was always my weak point

I would take the PWO...check results etc...If not what you want, drop it or readjust the numbers but seriously if you are training the way you state, it should not be a problem and can only help IMO.

I will have to look into this when i join a new academy after i move.

Thanks "Silva" , I'll drop the dex and have the prot in water (no fat) for 2 weeks and see what happens

Have you been using dex? I would keep it and then if results are not showing, then switch to something else or just adjust the numbers a bit.

Yes I have, but I always wondered if this was a good time to lose some fat and I'm ruining it with the dex/pro shake afterwards
