    Calories ingested vs calories burned?

    I I'm trying to burn fat and pretty much acheive my full potentiel how many calories of the calories I eat should I burn?

    if your trying to lose weight a good rule of thumb it to start at about 300-500 calories below your normal intake any lower and you can slow your metabolism down.

    I eat about 1800 cals a day so are you saying to burn 300-500 of the calories ingested?

    Or just eat 300-500 less?

    Your more likely to lose less muscle mass if you burn more calories as opposed to just cutting out calories. You need to weight train while your cutting regardless so as to not lose as much muscle mass.
