put together a 4000 cal diet
I found a diet online that i critiqued a bit to better suit my cooking abilities/income im looking to put on about 20lbs in weight so its a 4000 calorie diet. some info about me im 20 6ft and 178lbs
Breakfast:
Oatmeal 400 calories
Cottage Cheese 150 calories
30 grams of whey protein 150 calories – Shake
total: 700 calories, 60 grams of protein
meal two:
Whole Wheat Bread Tuna Sandwich 450
Salad with EFA dressing 150
total 600 50 grams of protein
meal three pre workout
oatmeal 300 calories
60 grams of whey protein 300 calories – Shake
total 600 calories 40 grams of protein
meal four post workout meal
Weight gainer
total 700-900 calories, 40 grams of protein
Meal Five
Whole Wheat Pasta with chicken
total 700 calories, 60 grams of protein
Meal Six
Weight Gainer
total: 700-900 calories, 60 grams of protein
in addition to this i drink about a gallon of water a day
tell me what you think and if there is stuff is should change

weight gainers are generally garbage, that shit is ok pwo at best. they are usually just an over priced mixture of sugar and whey. your better off grinding up oats with pasteuized eggwhites and a lil something for flavour. i tend to eat lotsa lean red meat when bulking, it has more cals than say tuna or chicken breast. not to mention flavour
