    Beans...

Anyone include these in their diet..nutrtiional profile reads excellent (navy, pinto, fava) high in fiber, low sugar, hi protein(for a vegtable esp). Very inexpensive. I just picked up 2 bags pinto beans and am incorporating them into a lower carb diet. Not keto obviously but lower carb. Anyone?

I usually do black or kidney beans when I use them, but they are like treats for me when my basic diet gets boring and I just want to mix it up a bit... Like you said, good source of carbs, fiber, and protein...

Beans are great source of carbs, fiber, and protein as well. the problem with beans while leaning out is the bloat and water weight are increased.

^^^ i see ..prob due to very high fiber content?? So precontest it would be a big no no but to simply use in diet to lose bodyfat in prepartion to cycle should be fine i would suppose.

Yep, I use black beans and navy beans in my cutting diet. The extra fiber keeps everything flowing the way it should

That would be them... Never really liked the taste when they're whole, but mashed up and turned into hummis they taste better to me for some reason (I realize chick peas are traditionally used for this too)

Black beans go real well in chili made with 93% lean ground or ground turkey. Probably not the ideal diet food, but it works.
