Do i still need this much protein ?

I do not do legs at all just leg extension and cardio if it come to hit legs coz of my lower back problem. I am bit confused here. Is it meant to consume 2.5 gm protein /kg even if you are just working out your upper body and NOT lower ? or can one consume lesser than that ?
    I consume around 2.5 gm /kg

    Just curious to know this.

even with lower back problems you should be able to do leg extensions, leg curls, and seated calve raises. not a complete routine but still enough to grow some wheels.

i think the protein should probably be about the same. like if you lift upper body you aren't gonna eat less than when you do legs. and 2.5g/kg doesn't seem like you have to force down the food
