    Tuna all day :)

Im going away from my house to a place where i cant really get chicken and meat all the time. I was thinking for replacing my meals with tuna lol so basically ill be eating 5 tuna cans a day with lots of peanubutter ......would that be kind of a replacement for a meal like chicken and rice? and would it actually work?

Erm, well, peanut butter is definitely NOT a replacement for rice!

yea , well, something that would replace a meal of 40g of protein and 300-400 cal. I was thinking of tuna can ( 40g of protein) and peanutbutter because it has lots of calories. But i dont know if its okay to eat that all day for a few weeks.

Good luck with the tuna, i'd be ready to vomit by the 2nd meal.

As Stem said, peanut butter and rice are DEFINITELY not interchangeable!

Why do you need a high source of calories? Off to the arctic? Can you get tinned chicken breast? Other canned protein? Liquid egg whites?

I never paid much attention to the tuna / mercury thing because i dont eat it that often anymore and never really did to the extent where concern was an issue. In this case, eating that quantity, I think this issue would be of concern. There are many other options - this would be unnecessary and if I did it I would never want to look at tuna again for the rest of my life.
