    american cup in grams??

    ive been looking online and getting a lot of varied info on cup size.....is 226gram 1 cup? because when i have weighed it out it looks waaaay to much! plus the carb macro for 226 gram is way more than the 1 cup in a recipe i am looking at....

    cups of different foods will not weigh the same. For example a cup of rice will weigh more than a cup of mini-marshmellows.
    You can't really compare weight to volume.

    A cup is a measurement of volume so you'd need to convert it to mL not grams.

    1 cup = 236.5ml.
