    HRT cycle questions? Need advice....

Currently on HRT with Androgel . Works great. Want to do cycle as I have a window of opportunity before Dr. visit. Considering the following:

Deca @ 300 mg per week (trying to clear up some joint pain)
Cyp @ 200 mg per week
Var if I can get (pricey though)

Need serious AI's as gyno sensitive:

Was thinking Letrozole or would you suggest sticking with Adex .5 eod?

Also, how much time off do I need before next BW is done do I'm normal (relatively speaking, or course)

Any thoughts, imput would be appreciated. JPKMAN, your thought

For what it is worth, I have moved to Letro and entirely abandoned Anastrozole. I get too many sides from Anastrozole. Mostly stuff like an overall crappy feeling, and if I eat sugar the next day I feel really irritable and moody when I take Anastrozole. I don't seem to get the same sides from Letro. Even when my E2 gets too low I don't feel nearly as bad on Letro as I do on Anastrozole, which made me realize I was not tolerating Anastrozole very well.

I also dose the same amount of Letro as I was doing Anastrozole. I was on 0.25 mg 2x/wk. I know people think you should take less letro, but keep in mind at the same mg dosage you already are! The standard does of Anastrozole is 1 mg. For Letro is is 2.5 mg. So if you take 0.25 mg of Anastrozole you are taking 1/4 of the dose. If you take 0.25 mg of Letro you are taking 1/10th the dose.

Thanks GNBM. My doc as well as my endo does not test for estrogen. They don't think it's necessary. Considering giving them copies of the HRT Basics and see if they will take the time to read them. Another GP friend of mine said AI's not needed as Androgel won't aromatise as it uses different pathways! Hell, their own literatire says it can! I can feel a little nip sensitivity at times now just on A-gel (10 pumps per day). Props to doc there as he treats me like person, not number. So, I'm close to starting cycle and just a bit worried about the gyno shit...

If you have nip sensitivity, get some AI off the web and use it. Our sponsor, ar-r .com sells both Letro and Liquidex. If you are in the US, you have have it in a couple days. Also, 100 mg Zinc every day helps some people. But it will only help if you are deficient in Zn. If you have lots of Zn floating around in your system it won't help you any.

10 pumps or 10gms. per day? Anyway, that is a lot of Androgel . A 10gm. dose put me at about 1600 total test. level. Subsequently, I asked to be put on injectable test. Like me, do you find it difficult to get all that gel on your body....seemed like I was running out of enough space to get it all smeared on.

I ordered some letro yesterday from them. I also did read about the zinc and soy isoflavones which I will get asap. 10 pumps per day which should equate to 12.5 grams if my math is correct! I go 4 per shoulder and 2 on stomach, no problem. Remember you don't have to completely rub it in. A-Gel brought me from a 59 T level (pituitary tumor shut me off) to a base level of mid 400's to mid 500's first thing in a.m. pre application. Did do one test about 6 hrs after application and T level was over 850.

i like your little cycle bro
    i'm a lil jealous, lol

being gyno sensitive makes it harder for me to advise cuz having used too much ai in the past i preach to err on the side of doing the least ai as possible

i have no experience with letro...heard MANY times its strong/harsh...arimidex always got job done for me and heard countless posts in favor of it

I'm still not sure what way I'm gonna go yet with the AI's. Did you use the liqui-dex?
