    Post Mixing of HCG

    Just looking to learn on the mixing of HCG .

    For example lets say we have:
    - 30mL vial of bact water
    - 8000iu of HCG.

    These 2 have to be mixed together right? How would you go about doing that?
    Would 8000iu be liquid form or a tablet?

    Any other examples and descriptions, or links send them on over!
    Looking to learn on this topic!

    Thanks, FC

    Add 4ml of BW to 8000iu of HCG

    1ml = 2000iu
    0.10ml = 200iu
    0.15ml = 300iu

    Still confused Gaspaco. The 8000iu of HCG would be already liquid form correct or would it be a tab?

    Adding 4ml to 8000iu would divide the dosage by a factor of 4? Making 1mL = 2000iu ??

    You got it divide one one time for dose or just look at Gaspaco post.

    So lets give another example, we got 10,000iu of HCG .
    We would add 5mL of BW to achieve 1mL=2000iu
    .10 = 200iu
    .15 = 300iu
    .50 = 1000iu

    HCG comes ussually in powder form.

    If you gonna use 10 000iu still add just 4ml

    0.10ml = 250iu

    Alright thanks a lot gaspaco!

    Another question, mixing it up. Would you just purchase a sterile unsealed vial and mix it with in BW??

    Thanks

    I think you meant to say a sterile sealed vial? Yes that is correct.

    As far as the mixing goes the HCG is freeze dried and its volume once dissolved in the bacteriostatic water is so small as to make very little difference to the overall volume...say you add 4 mls of bac water the overall increase in volume after the addition of the HCG would probably be less than 5% so that is why its not even considered in the equation.

    This is the case with almost all Peptides like MTII, HGH etc.

    Okay awesome, so 4mL of BW would be general for all HCG?

    Adding 4 ml to any amount is fine as long as you correctly calculate your dose.

    .20ml

    Most mix 2ml of BW with 5,000iu of HCG so we only have to inject .10ml

    A simple equation for the confused

    (hcg in powdered form) divided by (amount of bw water used) equals (liquid hcg) times (amount on u-100 insulin syringe) equals (total amount of dose).

    5000/2 = 2500 x .10 = 250iu.
    5000/4 = 1250 x .20 = 250iu.

    As Gaspaco stated, either amount of bw is fine, but the volume injected will be twice as much when using 4ml bw as compared to 2ml. Make sure you know how much you're injecting.

    THAT was what I was looking for, thanks a ton Rusty!

    Nope, just less to inject and your bottle of BW will last twice as long ;-)
