    Hcg and Vasectomy question.

    Guys,

5' 8" 180 lbs. 15% bf. Im 41 been on TRT cyp only for about 1 year. 50mg every 3.5 days. Sponsor adex at .25mg 24 hrs after injection. Gives me total T of 800.

My question is should I get on HCG ? I had a vasectomy after our second child about 11 years ago. What would the benifits be for a guy like myself who is not going to have any more children?

    Thanks in advance.

nick read the HCG sticky at the top of this forum. It all applies. Vasectomy does not really matter. Keep your boys healthy.

What if you have no boys? Is HCG still important?

Well it does have neuroligical benefits and receptors throughout the body, including the brain, but if you have no boys you have more serious issues to deal with!

depends on whether or not you had boys at one time and now they're gone.

I'm asking for someone else not for myself but I appreciate the responses. Not sure if the boys were there at some point or not but TRT was started at 12yo I believe for this individual.

Kel, you answered another question of mine regarding HCG as a substitute for DHEA and pregnenolone. Now what would be better in this situation granted you don't have much info to go on? What neurological benefits would HCG have on this situation where there are no boys to maintain?

Wow. Tough one. Well, as stated we have receptors everywhere and they are basically glycoproteins so the attachments should be made from exogenous LH to the LH-R (receptor.) That said I don't think much would be noticed in my non-doctor opinion as the majority of what we benefit from is directly related to our boys. But it's really beyond my pay grade. When it comes to a substitution for DHEA / Preg I still say it's not enough in most cases, but that has to be confirmed via BW for DHEA-S. Preg is really useless to test as it's stored mostly in tissue and is a transformer hormone anyway.

Wow, thank you so much for the detailed analysis. You have given me a few leads to hunt down. Grrrr, as if I didn't have enough topics piquing my interest and attention lol.
