Question for folks usong clomid therapy

So it seems to be that low dose clomid at 25 mg eod is keeping my testosterone at a healthy level . My natty levels are usually in the low 200s and now there in the 600s. Only problem is my estrogen is on the high side and i believe is causing lack of libido along with some other sides. I have tried adex in the past and even at lowest dose it crashes my e2. Any recommendations on getti g e2 down and helping libido out. And should i stay on the clomid or is it not actually fixing the problem?

Didn't we speak of finding the root cause if possible on another thread Ryan?
Always good to make an effort to find the cause instead of just medicating.
Have you had BW to show your E2 (sensitive assay please) is high?

No, it is. As a SERM it's stimulatory to your hypothalamus, which signals your pituitary to release more LH, thus more testosterone . Clomid basically tricks the estrogen receptor in your Hypo into thinking there's no estrogen causing it to ramp up production of GnRH which signals your pituitary to release LH and then downstream, etc..

ok so is it not a good idea to run a low dose for awhile to see if it kickstarts my natural test production or am I just delaying the inevitable. Nothing was out of range with my blood work except e2 was at the all the way top of the range listed

I'd have to see all your numbers to make that assessment. Know that just bringing down E2 can make quite a difference if it's really high. You may consider starting with your estrogen before you consider clomid. Be sure you obtain a Sensitive Estrogen Assay. Standard estradiol reads higher and can be a cause for unnecessary adex usage.

If I checked correctly it was a standard estradiol standing at 39 while the ref max was 44.

How little dose of adex you tried?

Do you experience any symptoms? If so, just take 0.25mg Anastrozole then.

In my case, with daily Testosterone and hCG injections, I take 0.25mg Anastrozole every 8 to 14 days. I find the longer I'm on TRT the less often I need to take the AI. Looking forward to not needing it at all!

If that was his estradiol number his E2 is probably fine.
