    hcg dosage.

I've read the stickies, and tried to find more info on my question to no avail. If someone adds hcg to their protocol, and starts off with whatever recommended dosage is for their type of trt, and sees no results, should they up the dosage in small increments until they do? Also, is there a limit at which it can be harmful on a daily or eod schedule?

Scroll down to the part labeled "hCG injection protocols", that'll give you the basics.

Or just post your protocol and your concerns and we'll see if we can help.

Most do well between 500 and 800 ius per week. The only thing you look to "feel" is your testicles not aching and small, and a rise in libido but I'm not sure what you are looking to feel as your guide.

I got a really good response with hCG 100IU injected daily, although I felt the boys did not come back 100%. So I increased the dose to 110IU. After giving it some time, I went to 120IU and was pretty happy with the results.

I tried a different concentration of hCG, which resulted in changing the daily dose to 125IU, and was not happy. In my case, stepping up to 125IU daily causes E2, which was previously well behaved, to go nutz. I was able to dilute the remaining amount just below 120IU, and the world is spinning in greased grooves again.

It's important to note that hCG can impact one's E2, so be prepared to deal with it.

My experience is if one is going to experiment with increasing the dose, run the dose for at least a few months to give it a chance to work. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither were your balls.

From what I understand, 500IU to 700IU does the trick for the vast majority of people, but as always, there are some outliers that may need a bit more.

Dr. Crisler preaches that using 500IU daily for long periods will cause receptor cell saturation, which in turn causes desensitization. And that's a bad thing.

In one of his later interviews on Super Human Radio, Crisler said that if one has been on TRT for a while and is just starting hCG, they can inject 1,000IU for a few days (I read that as three), and then switch to 100IU daily.

It's important to note that some men will not respond to HCG . The dose will not matter, you could give them any dose and it will not do a thing. I'm not saying that's you're case, I don't know, but it is a reality for many men. If it happens to be a reality for you, keep in mind that testicular atrophy is nothing more than a loss of fullness and causes zero harm to you or any area of your body. Sure, there are some nice benefits to HCG (ball sack fullness is the least of these, in my opinion) but if it doesn't work it doesn't work.

Last thing, like the others said you might want to post up what you're doing specifically, everything, not just the HCG. And also keep in mind if you increase the amount used, if you're going through a doctor, doing so is a good way for your doctor to drop you as a patient if you increase it without talking to him.

By feel, I did mean testicle size. I don't have time or money enough for multiple blood draws to watch all my levels, so I base effectiveness on how I feel, and if the boys come back.

I had a very long period without hcg due to lack of money and source.

Right now my protocol is limited. 3 pumps of androgel 1.65, and hcg. I was following crisler and doing 100 iu daily. When I had it long ago, I bumped it up because I wasn't feeling the effects. I was last at 200iu eod, with minimal effects to the boys, but felt good (easy erections, more energy, better mood.)

The last time I had a stock, I was also 50 lbs heavier, and not working (see my accountability log for the story). Now I'm lighter, and back to work, which is non stop walking, climbing, carrying, etc, and my diet is way cleaner than before with tons of water, and almost no simple sugars or processed foods.

Based on all that info, I'm starting back at 100 iu to see where I'm at. But I'm still curious about ill effects if I bump too high. I think the comments have been very helpful thus far, and I thank everyone.

Good point, I'm not going through my doctor, because he refuses. Just so everyone knows if that's important.
