What is alcohol's effect on the metabolism of exogenous testosterone?

Do different rules applies for exogenous testosterone ?

    What happens to E2 etc?

Or is the effect minimal if drinking one night a week <5 drinks?

I'm curious as well. I admit I'm an alcoholic. Feeling shitty all the time I think has caused my alcoholism, I think as humans we go to what makes us feel better. In my case alcohol was the answer. I've been on TRT for 5 weeks now and feel great and I've noticed my alcohol consumption has lessened, not stopped but I definately am consuming less. I look forward to beating this "disease" if TRT is the solution and it might well be.

There's a study I posted just recently below that you may be interested in where they stated alcohol intake and some other once thought of suppressive substances really didn't effect serum levels like once thought.

Wow! very nice study, but what about the acute effects of ingesting alcohol on the efficacy of the synthetic testosterone . When you inject, the medicine is slowly cleaved into cells, but is this process at all effected by alcohol being in the body?
