Foolish me (and I know better)

Me, 48 yrs old. Transformed my body and life with trt and a few blasts years ago and it was fairly easy.

Re transformed back to pre trt condition (not good) starting about 3 years ago. Got off trt. Then got back on. Then got back off etc, etc, etc.

Tried to make come backs several times with no luck. Never felt the pop or saw the results like I did the first time. No energy, very little sex drive, steady weight gain of 2-3 lbs/month.

Lots of stress. Loss of jobs due to oil and gas crash. Lots of beer. Lots.

Back on trt three months now. Dose 170/week. 1/2 tab arimidex weekly. 250 iu hug twice/week. Pre blood t level of 180. 6 week level of 600 and 12 free. No improvement in any symptoms. Weight increasing by 3-4lbs/month. Felt like total crap. Hematocrit high and going higher. Six weeks ago was 52. Donated blood. 5 weeks ago level 54. 4 weeks ago level 58. Took two bags out. Level only dropped to 56. Doc stopped trt. Didn't want my family to sue him after I stroke out. I get that. But could not tell me why hematocrit was still high and going higher.

Then it hit me. Sleep apnea. I have gained so much weight, started snoring then progressed to severe apnea. What happens when you have sleep apnea? Your O2 levels drop severely when you sleep. (Mine down to 84-85). What happens then you ask? Your body freaking starts making more red blood cells to try and carry more O2. This is on top of the added RBC's from the T. No freaking wonder I feel like hammered dog shit all the time. No real rest and blood like tar.

All of this because I am too heavy. And to think I was actually considering a blast to kick start things.

Sometimes men ARE too heavy for even trt and need to lose weight beforehand. As I have known but chose to ignore - high bf and many extra lb's don't mix well most of the time with exogenous testosterone .

So I'm down 8 lbs with another 30 at least to go before I inject any t, cpap on the way, and a nice big set of amber vials to look at everyday until then.

    Cheers,

    Flats

So now ur trying to loose fat with t level belw 200...man...i would suggest mk677 and cardarine. I have managed to loose fat with min test on those. Good for heart too. Cardarine makes u do more cardo but i never saw it could increase hct. It works more on the mitochondrias i think with creatin as a booster. Digg into it:-)

btw...add in 3 dl grapefruitjuice each morning. A couple of pubmeds suggest it migth decrease hct for those who has it elevated. Some went from 55 to 51 just from the grapes!
Wouldnt do any harm so why not...

Thanks brother. I've seen the grapefruit recommendation before. Really trying to restrict carbs. Will look into the Cardarine.

Glad you're back in the groove. I sleep with a CPAP machine, changed my life. I fell asleep going 75mph on the freeway. By the Lord's good grace, I rear ended a guy going 70mph, a 5 mph accident. Apnea is serious stuff.

I fought the hell outta sleep driving even made a thread for it on here "falling asleep driving". Only things that help me are red bull and adrenaline. Terrible thing, it would creep over me and I couldnt fight it off by screaming and head banging.

I had the Apnea surgery and it took care of most all of the problems. People forget that they can all so gain more tissue in the throat etc. The muscle/fat doesn't just grow out, it also pushes in.

First, it's good to see you back here Flatscat!

Why were you on and off TRT?
Why can't you use a minimal amount of T while things even out? Even 25 mgs x 2 per week. Some here inject minute doses on a daily basis with success.

Thanks brother. The off/on due to insurance and cash circumstances. I am pretty worried about my high rbc count. Donating didn't really help - 2points with three units. Need to drop another 6 points at least. Not sure where 50mg's/ week would put me at w my high bf%. I welcome your thoughts. If I can drop an initial chunk of it I think I would be better off over all.

Cutting the weight solved the problem? What was your BF %?
