No fat after insulin?
Everyone says not to eat fat for 4 hrs after injecting humalog, but they still manage to eat 1-2 full meals within that period of time. I'm just wondering what the hell kind of meals you guys are eating that has enough protein and carbs but 0 grams of fat. I mean, yeah I could do that easily with protein shakes and maltodextrin, but that's not really a meal.

hmm.. yeah, unfortunately I'm allergic to most seafood, so that's out anyways. Would it be too much fat to just have a meal from chicken breasts, bread, and broccoli?

Dextrose immediately after injection for me...with a whey shake ~2-30min later.......~1.25hrs later, I have 150g of chicken breasts and 20-30g of dextrose.
When we say no fat, we mean keep it as low as possible and don't take your flax (or omega FAs) with your pwo shake.
