Couple Humalog ?'s
Guys a couple questions if you don't mind,
History:
Just came off a very (in my mind) successful 17 week Test E & EQ cycle.
After researching and having an endless supply of Humalog and all the ancillaries,
I have decided to take the jump..4 weeks on 4 weeks off…
Wednesday and Thursday weight training-
5 IU’s..IM
PWO drink ..100 dex..60 whey..10gm creatine..5gm glut.
60 minutes later carb/protein meal and sugars monitored..no real problems.
Friday Cardio no shot.
Today weights-
10 IU’s..IM
PWO drink ..100 dex..60 whey..10gm creatine..5gm glut.
60 minutes later carb/protein meal and sugars monitored..again no real problems.
Question 1.
On just cardio days should a shot be taken? Or is it just after weight training which would be 5 or 6 days a week?
Question 2.
What benefit is gained by splitting up the PWO drink as follows?
injection + 5 minutes – drink shake with 10g glutamine / 10g creatine / 55g dextrose
Injection + 15 minutes – drink shake with 80g of whey protein in water
Your help is greatly appreciated.
The amount of knowledge the board members have is amazing.

You can shoot on you cardio days but you have really not broken down any muscle group and you risk gaining fat. I would not shoot on off days.
2. no reall added benefit in splitting up yur PWO. It looks like an over kill to me. thats a lot of carbs IMO. then I suppose you are going to eat a solid meal after the pwo shake.
also no need to add glut in the shake since whey already has an abundance of glutamine peptides. They will just compete with each other.abstrack@protonmail.com

Thats what I was thinking about the cardio days as well...
I was under the impression the PWO shake should be roughly 2:1 ?
(10gm per 1 IU?)
And yes I do have a carb/pro meal about 60 minutes after shot..

that is an overkill IMO. It is a general guidline to be on the safe side. i find that i tend to gain more fat when using the ratio of10g of carbs/iu I would start ut at 10 and work yu way down toward 7gm/1iu; which is what I use. I wouldnt go anyfurther than 7iu, because you will be cutting it close.

Like abstrack said, 10g of carbs for every 1IU of Insulin . Take your shots once p/day PWO, and IMO I would not take it on off days or even cardio days, take it on training days only.
