Is GH detectable in collegiate sport drug tests?

bro i have been asking a lot about gh testing,,seems it can be tested for but the test is VERY expensive and is soley for HGH. From what i understand NCAA does NOT test for it. Olympic committee seems to be the only ones testing for it. Let us know how you make out..

The only thing they can test for is IGF-1 and the other growth factors from which GH converts. rHGH has a very short half-life, like an hour or so. I will look for the guidlines but without question your IGF-1 woudl have to be above 500 for them to even suspect something.

It's kind-of like EPO. They don't test for EPO, but instead for a hematorit and hemogloblin significantly above the reference (normal) range. In EPO's case, I think the danger zone is a hemogloblin above 53% (which is pretty **** high).

So is an IGF-1 of 500.

I'll search for the criteria and try to post back.

I was told by someone who drug test D1 Athletes and told me we college people have 1 year left of hgh freedom until they recieve the test procedures.
HGH is detectable for 86days and igf-1 is only detectable if they know exactly where you injected it.

They will have the test ready for the start of next years football season. NCAA will only be able to test up to 200 people a year which means they will only call you in if they are very sure about you.

are u kidding me so my last shot of jintropin will last 86 days? how and why does it last so long? I have to go through "The World anti-doping Agency Code" whic is used by the olympic committees. Any info on that?

Those 86 days was writen in a letter by the anti-doping comittee saying they now can test for hgh. And FRANKY i know what your saying i know only about half dozen college athletes who have tried or use hgh. But the threat of getting busted is out there.
