    Slin available OTC in TX

    Got a buddy in TX that asked me if you can just walk into the drugstore and get slin and pins there. Anybody out there in Texas that can help?

    should be able to buy humulin r with no problem?? Its not a controlled substance of any sort.

    humalog will require a script but from what I can remember you can get humulin r anywhere

    you know, that sounds right... what the hell am i thinking of, then? could've sworn i've heard some bros say the pharmacist refused to sell them humulin-r, because he didn't believe they were diabetic. [I guess if you're a 260 lb. gorilla, people get a little skeptical - wtf?]

    almost positive i'm not confusing humulin-r and humalog

    i walked into a pharmacy the other day and bought 10ml vial of humalog for $40. im in canada tho.

    humalog seems safer than humulin-r due to shorter half-life. worth the extra few bucks in your opinion? 39.99 + 10 shipping sound right?

    yeah - i personally would go with the humalog.....

    and yes the price is correct.... i got mine from there.....

    just be careful....

    I'd get a blood glucose monitor to be extra safe.... Fast for 8 hours... then take your Blood glucose..... that should be your normal reading.... then wheny ou do slin... you can check your BG ands ee how close it is to your normal reading... this way u can prevent hypo signs before they happen....
