jintropin/good to the last drop-a question
does anyone have a suggestion on how to get that last little bit out of the vial?

Heh - always a problem. Between what's in a vial, and what sticks to the pin (the difference between TC - "to contain" and TD - "to deliver") you find threads suggesting you need as much as 20% over to get your full schedule worth.
Beyond that, if anyone has some fancy tricks I'd love to know 'em.

Angle the pin in the stopper and tilt the vial. There isn't any real special tricks.

On an 18IU (6g) vial I get 14.5-15IU delivered. With the barest tip of the pin through the top and the vial inverted I still leave a good bit behind, uncollectable. I have even gone to 2X dilutions to reduct the amount of HGH in the bit left over (since it is about the same volume no matter what).

words use a syringe where the needle does not come off. That is called
the foot. The foot will wast tons of GH. With a flat head (insulin ) syringe
the stopped goes all the way to the needle.
Hope you are not talking about leaving 3 IU's in the vial.

Those are the syringes I have, thoguh I have never heard them called that - works the same for either the 50IUs I got from my Dr. or the 100IUs I got from AR, both insulin pins with fixed needles. I can't say how much is in the vial, since I can't get it out to measure it, but yes, basically, it is mostly wasted in the vial because I can't get to it. You really can't see it much when the vial is inverted - it sort of "melds" in with the rubber stopper, presumably why the pin can't get it - but when I right the vial again there it is....

I contribute that to pulling out a little too much on the previous shots.

OK when you are down to the last part try inserting the needle just past the
seal. In other words don't put it in all the way. On GH bottles you have
a piece sliced away. You can see needle. Well, I guess you can't, so pull back on stopper an pull needle out slow. You can put needle back in a pull
more fluid out. Remember every time you put needle in it gets duller.

Try injecting air in the vial for a pressure overload. Then when the pin barely penetrates the stopper, the fluid will find the exit...straight into the needle.

Yeah, as I have been learning I have been changing how I inject air. I have realized that prior to adding the BW I could add nearly 6-8ML of air to even out the pressure - before when I went to add the BW as soon as I passed the seal the BW just shot into the vial. Also, the stopper sort of pulled into the vial, somewhat away from the glass so there was a space between the glass and the rubber where some the the HGH would go, unavailable to the needle.
I am hoping that with more pressure in the vial and my double-dilution method I will get more of the meds out of the vial.

Ahhh, that's good advice... I always take the pressure out of the vial when cracking open a new 10iu vial. Just put another cc or 2 back in on the last shot..thx
