    Humulin 1/humulin N

    I have 5 x 300iu cartridges of humulin N

    It is intermediate acting.

Could this slin be used with every meal (using small dose)? Or would it be better to just use at breakfast?

I have use humalog several times in the past on various schedules. This is the first time i will be using a longer acting slin, anyone have any pointers or advice?

I was planning on using the longer acting slin at breakfast as dave palumbo talks about in MD mag. Was going to shoot 6-10iu with breakfast? This a bad idea?

Not necessaraly a bad idea, good way to try and gain weight but I am a high believer that insulin is mostly beneficial PWO so I would still def have a shot then.

I would start at a lower does to be safe. You dont know where you will be or what you will be doing when that insulin kicks in. I would have some glucose tabs on you at all times..

    Be safe

Gixxer i always have glucose tabs in my pocket when on slin i have also got myself some glucagon pen/sryinge on stand by just in case.

Will be working upto the 6-10iu dose starting at 3iu and increasing every few days.

I have laid out an eating plan to coincide with the slin being injected, becoming active and reaching its peak.

    Will keep you informed.
