can buy insulin without prescipt at pharm?
i am looking to buy some Humulin-R, and they said this is available without prescript on steroid profiles section, so pretty much does this mean i can just tell the pharmacist... "gee... i was diagnosed with diabites lemme get some humulin-r. or do u need a doctor to confirm ur diabites? btw i live in the u.s and can u buy that kind of insulin without prescript or no? i wouldn't be suprised if that data was outdated. this is a kind of insulin u can use for bodybuilding if u wanted to know

You do not need a prescription, but I have never gone into a pharmacy and asked for it nor do I know anyone that has. I just order online, no hastle or stress that way.

I've watched guys get insulin from the pharmacy. As long as you dont care what someone thinks of you getting it, its no big deal.

Humalog isn't an issue to get at any pharmacy here in ontario.

HumaLOG, NovoLOG (and mixes of ...LOG's), and Lantis require prescriptions in the US. Humulin R, N, 70/30 (and Novolins) do not require prescriptions. If you know what you need, no pharmacy will deny you insulin unless you tell them you're not using it correctly. Just make sure to ask for the correct item.
Enjoy

They have to give it to you, someone whos in a life or death situation requiring insulin needs to be able to get it anywhere, anytime.

The pharmacy i go to sells them no prob, same with normal syringes and pins. Ive watched guys tell the pharmacist they need it for sustanon , and they get a whole case. Obviously this isnt common though, or legal in some areas.

so, just go into the pharmacy and ask for humulin R and they'll give it to you? do you need to know dosing/ml or any other info or just say "gimme some humulin R"

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but even though a slower releaing insulin can be used for sport ehnacing purposes, you would be better off using a fast acting insulin such as humalog.
Furthermore, this thread does not belong here. I will now move it to my house...

I am a diabetic and have a prescription for insulin . The pharmacy does not have to give you insulin. If you need insulin in an emergency, you have to go to the emergency room. Insulin regulates blood sugar so technically you can go weeks, and I have and would not reccommend it, without insulin. Hyperglycemic(high blood sugar), side effects happen over a long term. I have needed fast acting insulin and on one occasion I was able to talk the pharmacist into it.
Humalin and needles are over the counter so if you just tell them what you want they will give it to you. I sometimes change my needles so I will ask to see all the needles they have available(long needle, short, xtra short, etc) and they never give me any problems.
The OTC insulins are not going to give you near the effect of the fast acting, and due to the price of GH, if you are taking it with the insulin, I think it would be a waste to use something like humalin. If, and only if, you have TIGHT control of your diet, the fast acting would prob be a better choice. I would also suggest a glucometer to measure your blood sugar- it's super easy and will help you recognize potential hypo.

I meant humulin not humalin. Also, you can always call the pharmacy before you go and see if they can have it ready to go when you get there.

I have bought pins at a pharma when I ran out but they usually only sell small amounts. Much cheaper to buy them online, but if you need them, **** it, who cares what they think. If your scared of getting a dirty look from a pharmacist you need some hcg to drop those balls
