HGH / Test. help!!!!!!
Just got my prescription for test and HGH (genotropin). It was for 5ml a week of test and 2 ml a day for HGH. My insurance covers Test but not HGH. Anyway, will the 5ml a week of test even do anything? seems really low dose to me. And If I do get the HGH, will 2ml every other day work. I know not as good as everyday. but right now I can't swing the payment. Thanks for any help and info

I don't know about the Test at those doses, 5ml wk... From what I've seen on other posts and from other users' Test only cycle, that seems like it is just to help your own body replace what it can produce on its own or to augment it a bit...
In regards the gH, 2ml pen = 10mg to 15mg of gH/per mL, which should last you 3 to 4 wks, depending your daily usage. Also, I think you're confused... I'm not sure if you meant 2IUs per day, which is definitely not that bad or too low, if in fact you have a gH deficiency... 2ml = (approximately) 30 to 35IUs of gH, using my pen's criteria as convertion factor... Also, this depends on conversion factors being used for this.
I'm taking 3IUs of gH (= 1mg) 5 days wk with 2 days off (Sat/Sun). A 15 mg/1.5mL pen lasts me more or less 3 weeks, at 3IUs 5ed/2off I'm consuming 1.5 mL in 3 weeks. So, it all depends on concentration and purity of the gH solution you're taking. About dosage, I've seen users taking higher doses of gH, but everybody is not the same, so keep taking your 2ius until you can afford more units and after a few weeks, 4 to 6 wks, then you can bump it to 3IUs and later to higher doses, i.e. 5, 6, or 8IUs... I'm not completely sure about this, but in my case for example, 1mg of the somatropin (gH) I'm taking = 3Ius, which then translates to 1mg/mL.

I found a better explanation, in case you're interested, explaining the IU, mL, cc, mg... from another user:

That will depend on what you are measuring.
An international unit is an arbitrary amount of a substance agreed upon by scientists and doctors. A milliliter is a measure of volume that is equal to one-thousandth of a liter (or slightly less than a quarter of a teaspoon).
Some medical tests report results using international units (IU) per milliliter (mL).
Here is an example: Heparin is manufactured by many different pharmaceutical companies. The strength and presentation of the medication varies widely according to the manufacturer of the product. Examples of available strengths include 100 IU (international units) per mL, 1,000 IU per mL, 10,000 IU per mL, and 25,000 IU per mL.

yes 2 iu
That is what I meant 2 iu every day. but for my wallet I am going to do it 2 iu's every other day. this way 1 "tray" will last 2 weeks not 1. plus the .5ml every week of Test. Hey better then nothing. Plus I have a prescription now

At those very low doses, I don't think so... but to be on the safe side of things, you could ask on athe "Anabolic " forum and have some experienced users to answer this better for you.
