    insulin and protein absorption

I've heard that protein can be absorbed in a finite amount at a given time.
That is, if one were to take "too much" protein, a lot of it wouldn't be absorbed and would turn to waste.

Does insulin enable the body to take on greater quantities of protein at a given time and prevent it from just being turned into sh!t?

That's why you should always consume a little more protein than you usually would.

Protein can be shuttled into cells without the help of insulin .

Not necessarily, it depends on the physiological demand that the given cell is under at the time. Studies have shown that protein synthesis is not significantly different when someone consumes protein only vs protein+carbs in vivo.

the whole reason why you try to get between 7-10 grams of whey per iu of slin is to take advantage of slins ability to shuttle amino acids.

    yeah I have.

I've been in-taking almost 200g of protein within 4 hours after injection

    on the 3rd week now

My strength did go up a LOT

It's not as powerful as steroids but it has made a noticeable affect

My diet is very clean - mostly complex carbs (whole wheat breads) and whey protein

I usually eat most of my carbs a few minutes before injecting

I also use Orlistat - a prescription fat blocker, and clenbuteral

be sure not to eat any fats when you take your insulin .....it is non selective...it will store whatever nutrients are there....

You should try to get more whole food protien as it is more bio-availible.

I run insulin all the time....4-6 weeks on, 4-6 weeks off......You can gain a ton of fat on it, if you diet is not right on.....If you have everything down, insulin can be a very powerful alli.....I love insulin......
