Its SUPPOSED to be better because it has a higher molecular weight, that may just be some marketing BS though.

Ok, this stuff defenitely has its place when it comes to when it should be used and when not. Let me explain a few things...

When we use insulin , it's in our system for a certain amount of time (depending on what type of insulin you use). Let's say you use humalog which is in your system for a minimum of 4hrs post injection. Using this Vitargo stuff will defenitely speed up the recovery process (since it works so fast) but it's going to be digested and used up way before insulin is out of your system. What does this mean? It means that you will more than likely experience hypoglycemia since these type of carbs are digested and used up so soon post consumption. So, in terms of recovery it's great. You will experience awesome recovery since this stuff works so fast, but don't count on it keeping your from falling into hypoglycemia. This stuff can certainly be used when using insulin, but since it goes through your stomach 2x faster than any other type of carbs you'll find that you may have to take it more frequently in order to stay out of hypo. When I use insulin, I prefer to take carbs which stay in your system for a bit longer, this way I don't need to consume carbs so often.

If you are not using insulin then without a question this stuff is the best stuff you could use for recovery. A combination of hydrolized whey protein isolate and this Vitargo stuff will seriously boost the recovery process. This will still be the case when using insulin but I suggest you monitor your blood glucose fairly often because there is no way this stuff is keeping you from feeling hypo, well not for long anyway.
