    shot 4iu/slin an hour ago...do not feel well at all.

    Took 4iu slin for first time 1 hour ago. Had 60 g dextrose, 50 g protein/glutamine immediatley after. Now, I just ate 8oz steamed chicken and about 1.5 cup brown rice...feel a little bit better now that I ate, but i feel so weak and all I want to do is sleep....what should i do....? glucose tabs are not helping....

    i cant see how it can be the slin making you feel that way when you ate more carbs with 4ius then i do with 10ius. maybe your body just cant handle it and your best bet is to toss it.

    how many carbs do you take in, PT? what is your PWO and 1st meal stategy...?

    You are very slin sensitive with only 4iu. That's pretty harsh. You might be better off without it if your having problems as such.

    Btw that sounds like hypo symptoms, i've had them but with a much higher dose and far less carbs. It was some tests trying to find the sweet spot.
    Slin is commonly known to make people tired, making it soo dangerous to people who can't deal with it or fight it off in the proper way.

    i take around 4g per iu. i will take 10ius as soon as im done lifting then take 50g protein and 45g of carbs. about 45min to an hour later i will eat 12 ounces of chicken or fish and 1 cup of brown whole weat rice. i will then have a few more carbs and protein an hour later

    You may be very sensitive to slin. It makes me tired as well, but i take it through out the day. Just keep some simple carbs with u at all times in case you start feeling hypo. I had a few bouts of hypo when i was figuring out my carb/slin ratio.

    I would just slam a coke and have some rice cakes, felt better within 30 minutes. Take it slow and see how your body reacts.

    oh yea btw....i fell asleep for about 45 mins about an hour after my shot....woke up in a sweat and didnt know what happened....maybe I should just take in a lot more carbs....but that nap scared the hell out of me.

    is that ok to nap an hour-2 hours after slin taking?

    you can nap whenever you want but its easier to go hypo while your sleeping and not feel it coming on
