Are these symptoms normal? Should I stop it? Should I seek medical help?

Hello guys, I really need your help. I've never done steroids before and I only wanted to do HGH since I heard it's the safest of the bunch at low doses. So I got 3 16 iu Genotropin vials to start on it. I wanted to take 2 iu/day but a miscalculation led me to take 4 iu/day for 2 consecutive days. I got really dizzy and I almost fainted on day 2, so I stopped for around 4 days and went back on today on 2 ius. Here are my symptoms:

-Body hair growth. I'm sure it's the hgh since the supplements I'm taking I've been taking for at least a month, and the growth started the 2nd day after I started hgh. I've never heard of this and it's weirding me out. I am sure of the hair growth. I am 25 and have no hair on my upper body (chest, abdomen, back) but now they're growing at a fast rate!
    -Dizziness
    -Blurred vision
    -Anxiety/being annoyed/angry
-Some gas like annoyances near the heart, kidney, stomach.

Is it possible that the HGH activated something in me!? Should I stop!? What should I do!? I'm really scared right now. I only took 10 iu and I don't know why my body reacted like this. I'm 5'8" 170 pounds. Thanks for all the help!

You should definitely stop. It doesn't sound like HGH sides, and I'm guessing it's not actually HGH you have. I don't know what it could be, but I would recommend you stop immediately and if the effects don't subside, see a doctor immediately.

Thanks for the reply. These effects only happened when I took the HGH. I'm really afraid. Could it cause permanent damage at 10 iu like activate a cancer or shorten life (I heard this is called something like acromygaly)?

10 IU's won't activate cancer cells or shorten your life, and it definatly won't cause acromegaly.

Are you sure you were injecting hgh? Did you use sterile technique? How old are you?

I had some accelerated hair growth on GH.

Some of the other symptoms could relate to blood sugar which GH can alter. Go see you doc. Does he know you are taking gh???

DC thanks for the assurances. I'm 25 year old male. Maybe the symptoms are related to blood sugar tboney. I've never heard of hair growth on gh before so that really scared me. Good to see someone else had this. But it's really not a nice side effect I really liked that I don't have to shave. Would this keep going on if I keep taking gh, like the hair growth would become real apparent? And I went to a general dr. he said it's safe to take it at 2 ius day one day one one day off or 4 to 5 days a week and the rest off, and he said it's real beneficial and has no scary side effects at that dosage. I would still love to take them since I spent $xxx on the vials and don't want to throw them away. I was planning on doing at least 10 vials but now this scared me off.

Ok the dizziness went away after I took two spoons of honey and ate some vegetable and whole carbs. I also ate some watermelon.

    Thanks for all the replies.

thanks for the reply. What exactly is that problem? Is my blood sugar getting low? I'm still anxious and annoyed but the dizziness went away when I ate.

HGH creates insulin resistance for a while after injecting, which means it won't allow sugar to be absorbed as it should.

Yes which would cause high blood sugar. The symptoms he had represents low blood sugar and that why eating would have helped

Sorry about mentioning the price didn't know it was against the rules.

Anyway, I was trying to sleep but this agitation/anxiety kept waking me up. I'm gnashing on my teeth and I feel really irritated so I walk around the house and I start to get paranoid I can't settle. I took a couple xanax pills that I keep around for emergency cases and I considered this to be one but 1 hr later they did nothing so I went to the local pharmacy here. He tested my blood sugar normal and I told him about the hgh he told me the body takes around 7 days to adjust to the new hormone and I will be agitated/angry/hyper/irritated and get some dizziness which is normal. He also told me some hair growth is from it as well and that I can keep taking the genotropin. He gave me klonopin and told me just to use it while my body gets used to the hgh since it will calm me down. I'm an anxious/hyper person by nature so this probably made it worse.

As they say, get bigger or die trying. lol

As for the blood sugar, he told me when you take it it drains your sugar stores to use for energy so you should replace it with dextrose, which is found in stuff like honey (I got that right without even knowing). I'm not sure for how long it keeps draining your sugar stores throughout the day though, since it's been almost 20 hours since my shot. In the morning the same thing was happening but I took in some honey and sweets and it went away. Maybe my body overreacts to most supplements/medicines I don't know why. It always happens with every medicine whatever it is. Like the Yohimbe you take for energy/better sexual performance makes me really hyper/anxious and gives me sort of an ecstasy feeling! while my friends feel nothing on it...

would you guys advice me to stay on it for 7 days? Instead of 2 IUs I'll do 1 IU or 0.5 IU and go up an 0.5/week... what do you think?

I think most of my symptoms except for hair growth are results of ANXIETY somewhat triggered by HGH. I do have to say this is my FIRST cycle and I have an anxiety disorder prior to taking the hormone. I guess this made me susceptible to these sides?

Cause around 30/40 mins after taking the klonopin, I'm VERY calm, no more agitation/irritation/anger/pains/dizziness/blurred vision!

Are you on any anxiety medication during HGH? Did you stop taking your medication? I've never really heard of HGH alone causing emotional disruptions. I'm on medication because I have an obsessive/compulsive personality. Been on medication for several years. I've been on HGH for two years 5iu/ed. I feel great. I would even venture to say I feel like I'm on top of the world as long as I take my medication along with HGH. Don't skip the medication if you have any in place of the HGH.

well since I'm susceptible to anxiety I think the HGH triggers it. This just leaves the issue of body hair growth which is really annoying. Is there a way to prevent this from happening other than quitting altogether? Thanks.

Some things he's saying resembles HGH symptoms but when I started it made me extremly lazy and sleeping easily (unheard of for me). I dont take meds for anxiety but I probably should and HGH only helped with that for me instead of the other way around. I am no expert but sounds like you got something else in those vials.

Hypothesis 2: Could the HGH be affecting his BP?? when I first started HGH I had some pretty High BP and had to stop it for a while(I was up'in it 1 iu a week and it was way too fast for me, I have to go up .5 iu a week and after 4 iu I have to go even slower or I would get crazy numbness, water retention, heart would pound and my BP was 170/95 ish), I have been on for about 6 months and just now got to 6 iu. I am very sensitive to this stuff and u might be too.

why are my sides posted on another site selling a hgh releaser product? yes i have bad sides on hgh but I know I'm one of very few who experience side effects, so I was just unlucky you can say. I wish I could use it without sides as many are happily doing. When I use it besides the anxiety/anger/dizziness/hair growth i do feel more energetic/powerful/sort of a high.
