Problems getting Rx for HGH filled

I am a physician and strongly believe in the health benefits of HGH, especially as an anti-aging treatment. The interesting thing is that I am finding less and less pharmacies that will fill the prescriptions for my patients. The FDA has fairly narrow guidelines and as everyone knows anti-aging is not on their list. Pharmacies have been made aware of this and have been warned by the FDA. I think this is a crying shame. With physician supervision, testing, and monitoring, HGH is a great tool in preventing many age related problems. Hopefully, with more research and attention to the matter those that restrict access will see that it, not only are people more healthy but money can actually be saved by health plans by preventing (or at least) slowing disease states. I practice in California and was wondering those of you who have prescriptions from certified MDs in other states are seeing similar issues?

How would one get a prescription in the first place if you're not on the lowest end of natural HGH production ?

I did not ever realize that was a option for a RX?? It is the DR. responsibility to prescribe the correct medicine/treatment. the only action/decision a Pharmacist has is to make sure the patient understands the dosage and make sure the prescribed meds dont interact badly with current or new meds. It is not there place to second guess the Dr. diagnosis...The Pharmacist has none of the pacients medical records so how could they possibly deny a patient with legit scrip there meds..Confused???

Talk to the other doctors at your AA-clinic, and do a little research into partnering up with an a US online pharmacy/distributor.

You can set up accounts where they can mail the hormone to your patients doors through cold-pack service.

Lately pharmacists have been dealing with hell from the FDA in regards to all Rx's handed out by A.A. doctors.

I've got to admit, I can understand why. The anti-aging community has taken it so far in the past 5 years, that in my eyes they are almost a symbol for a "legal steroid dealer."

The reason I believe you're see so much restriction all the sudden is because the FDA is probably sick of "AA-clinics" that are run by freaking chiropractors, and use a doctor based in a different city. Also, that's not even touching on the fact about excess prescriptions (writing an Rx to fill a 10mL bottle of Test-C 200mg/mL when their script is only for 200mg x 4).

Bold not true - now they are required to make sure stuff like pain meds, hgh and others are prescribed for a legit diagnosis. They can and have been punished for doing just what you said and nothing else.
