    **Reconstitution**

I have serostim and it comes with the little bottles of water but I was told not to use those because it won't stay good for long. SO I have ba water (I made it by mixing the two) but is it true it will go bad if I use the water it came with?

I would think it would be good for up to a few weeks once reconstituted then kept in refrigeration. I dont understand why anyone would say the water that comes with the GH will go bad! Thats like saying don't use the shoe strings that come with your new shoes. Just makes no sense!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's why I made this thread. But I guess because aids patients shoot the whole bottle at one time lol. The Rx is for 15ius per day!

When you mix it with Bac water it will remain potent for alot longer usually for around 10-14 days but with sterile water its around 48hours. I have the exact times on my other computer but thats roughly.

Sterile water has no benzyl alcohol in it. It is just... water. Benzyl Alcohol prevent the growth of bacteria. It doesn't kill bacteria it just prevents more from growing. Without BA, bacterial will begin to grow almost immediately after you reconstitute. With BA, there is no new bacteria growth so the solution can stay "fresh" longer.
