    Cool Nkyle's TB-500 Log

A month and a half ago I went into the doctor for a debilitating pain in my right shoulder. Without even giving me x-rays he told me it was bursitis. Prescribed ibuprofen and 3 weeks of rest. Well turns out didn't do squat. I am a side sleeper and have tried to correct this habit. Still hurts, can't bench, military press, basically and pressing motion with my shoulder is fvcked.

So I decided to start TB-500
Read some info on it and thought it would be worth a shot.
I plan on doing at least 6 weeks starting with a 5 mg SubQ injection and working my way down

I took my first SubQ injection in the lower left of my abdomen tonight after dinner, no pain or redness whatsoever.

I plan on keeping a daily log, I'm on a 2:1 training schedule so if there is improvement I will be sure to notice.

Not doing any other "enhancements" while on TB, I wanna make sure this stuff works...

    Stay tuned!!

Shoulder pain has decreased. Most likely because I forced myself to sleep on my back. No noticeable changes yet.

And ya know, usually sleeping on the ground helps my back, but I didn't plan very well and set up on a pretty lumpy surface

I don't think it's from the TB but shoulder feels pretty good. Could be because I havent lifted in a couple days..

ok so I moved my injection back one day because I will be leaving town next saturday and dont want to take it with me

So I woke up and went to the gym to hit chest. Still pain in the right shoulder, only could do working sets with 45lb weights and had to take it easy on the tri's as well

Came home and ate my pwo meal

did my second dose with 2.5 mcg

all in all no noticeable improvement from the first week, but that's to be expected

mcg? that seems awfully low. you sure you have the correct unit of measure?

Scratch today's original post. I went in and worked shoulder's and Bi's. Don't know why, just felt right today ;D

Noticed full range of motion on warm-ups without much pain
although pain was still there when I stretched

Actually was able to shoulder press 45lb Db's with no pain whatsoever

I know it's early, so I'm not going to push it
but I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed

agree. do not push it. you got in this jam in the first place because ligaments have insufficient nerve endings to tell you when you are about to injure yourself. keep it light..........

Really need to stop sleeping on my shoulder. I'm starting to think this is where all the problems are stemming from
Did some pushups last night and felt no pain
Woke up this mornign and tried to do some to wake up and couldn't

    Tb = nothing yet

So am I the only one that finds these injections uncomfortable? Ive heard you and roman both say it is relatively painless. I almost always find the injection to burn like mofo. The pin is fine, but the actual release of tb burns...what am I doing different wrong? How much saline are you guys using per dose??

Not meaning to thread jack. I inject 2mg with .5ml of Bac water. Slight burning for about 10mins, nothing to complain about.

I do the same as Fries.

And no the injections have never been uncomfortable to me. Had to use a bigger gauge needle for todays and the only discomfort I felt was when I pierced the skin

    So to update:
My shoulder does feel better. I can use it and it doesn't have the pain it used to now it's more of a dull reminder. I haven't worked it out fully though

And it might just be in my head but my endurance seems to have went up. I am at the same caloric intake as when I started, yet now i haven't been getting fatigued hardly at alll

Did my 3rd dosage of Tb500 yesterday

    a recap

    1st week 5mg

    2nd week 2.5mg

    3rd week 2.5 mg

I am taking this to repair the bursitis and complications of that in my right shoulder.

So far pain has been reduced by about 40-50% I’d like to say

I can do pushups and DB bench again. Even did some shoulder press!

Dips are still out of the question

As for other effects, I swear my endurance has gone up, even while kind of neglecting my cardio over the last 2 weeks. Bf% has definitely dropped and my muscles seem alot fuller

Overall pleased with results after not even halfway done

Weird. Im doing the same. I really should try a new spot. The pinning isnt bad, but the burn from the injection is definitely noticeable. Im not saying its unbearable, just uncomfortable. I find it odd that some people say it doesn't burn at all and other do, I wonder what's the difference between people.

what are you reconstituting with? saline or BA? I use BA, and no issues. Additionally, some people have different pain threshholds. Just donated blood again last night, and even that really doesn't bother me. Some of this might be the "placebo" effect as well, especially if needles bother you.

Not to change the subject but when I tried PT-141 it felt like a little fire was starting at the injection site. Lasted no more than a few minutes and I was using bacstat water. Other people say they felt nothing. I have a high pain tolerance. Weird.

And no I have no problems with needles what so ever. The only time I ever would ever say the experience is uncomfortable would be the plunging, the sticking doesnt phase me at all. Been awhile since i logged in, hence the late response

Took over a week off from the gym and missed my last TB pin. Went down south and couldn't bring all my goods with me.
Just did my 4th pin today.
Shoulder is noticeably better. The only thing I feel is a slight reminder that my shoulder was injured

injecting sterile water stings - that's the issue
next yr if you can purchase bac water (or sodium chloride), I would recommend it

5 weeks in and I am really glad I decided to run Tb.
I still have a reminder of pain that my shoulder was injured but I do have full range of motion and the ability to do all my exercies(bench, fly, shoulder press, etc....)
With an extended warm up I barely feel any pain at all.

I am 100% confident that through extended warm ups and medium weight exercises I'll be back to 100% by the end of the year.

I have realized through trial and error that I need to work all parts of my shoulder so it can keep up proportionally with the rest of my body.
All in all this was a great learning experience and I'm glad it happened now at 21 instead of later in life where the damage could have been alot more drastic

How does it feel a couple of hours after the workout? Or the next day? I can get a good warm up and actually feel pretty good until I start to cool down and then the tendonosis makes itself known that it is still there. And how!

Today is a rest day. I hit shoulders yesterday and warming down I felt almost no pain. And today the only pain was after I woke up for about 2 hours. I'm guessing this is because I sleep on my right shoulder.
