INSULIN?? What are you doing???
I had to post this thread to teach young bucks about insulin ....
Insulin is ONLY for the ADVANCED...Only for diabetics and king of the hill...
If you are NOT diabetic or KING of the hill....STOP.....
99.99999999999999999999999999999% of people don't need insulin..
Insulin is for when you are over 200 + at 6% (And on gh)...For people who KNOW what they're doing!
Stop talking about insulin...It's making me angry. No one should be on insulin except what I say above.......
To repeat...Please NO ONE talk about insulin...Only for the ADVANCED, which is no one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go somewhere else with that bullshit. "No one talk about insulin ." Give me a break. This is the insulin/hgh section! It is not for beginners but I believe your % of people who could benefit from it are a little off. Go hang out in the supplement section for a while if you get so angry just hearing about insulin.

LOL OK guy yeah he is over reacting a little but I think he is on the right track. Yup this is a good place to learn how to use slin properly. I remember trying to understand and learn about it in the beginning and the more I learned and understood the more I realized I dont and probably will never need it as well as the risks far outweigh the gains for me and for most people. maybe not 99.9999 but yes in the high 90%

I really think the fear of insulin is due to the huge amount of bad or incomplete information out there. Before I ever used slin (This was several years ago) I read 100s of threads on slin and probably a dozen actual full articles on its use and nowhere in any of that did I ever see mention of getting a blood glucose meter and using it to first establish a baseline and second to check for recovery after each slin run. Further none of them mentioned the importance of carrying some form of rapid glycogen in several locations at all times, to me this is really important, I keep some in my house, car, as well as my gymbag so in case of an accident etc. I will not have to worry about going hypo.
Maybe if I get energetic I will write a full article on Safer Slin Usage with full details on simple stuff that can keep you safe.Last edited by Far from massive; 01-01-2013 at 10:35 AM.

Me2, I'm still willing to lean as much as possible although I still will probably never be to the point where I need to use it.
I dont disagree that it's useful especially for anyone who is into BB and does competitions or who is damn close to that point. I believe it's not needed or worth the risk for 90% of us here who are normal gym guys, some who are in better shape than others but most are not real BB or even close.

yes, I came off bad....I'm really just tried of personally seeing people use insulin that should not be using it whatsoever! Not needed....
I hear young guys talking about it in the gym, yet they don't know anything about it or how it works, or realize it's a big deal...Kids are getting hurt, I hear about it all the time these days...
But besides that issue it really isn't needed unless you're ADVANCED, which is true in my personal belief....
Let me ask you this question?? Why do we tell young guys NOT to use steroids? Why do we tell people who are 20% bodyfat NOT to use steroids?? Why do we tell people who are 5'9" and 140 lbs NOT to use steroids??
Because there is a right time to take a certain hormone to MAXIMIZE it's results...What I'm trying to say, is that 99.9% of the people aren't at that time...In my opinion at least...
It is a great hormone just like steroids or anything else and bodybuilding wouldn't be where it is today without FOR SURE....But again, timing people, timing
And besides, people think they are gonna take 15 units of humalog a day and they're going to look like Ronnie Coleman....Pros don't even come close to playing with those numbers!! And they are taking humulin r doses ALL DAY LONG!Last edited by calstate23; 01-04-2013 at 08:48 PM.

I'm not denying that! In fact, I agree with you...And too be honest, most of the top pros today wouldn't even be on stage without HUGE humulin r doses ALL DAY LONG! All the gh and steroids couldn't even save them, insulin is key to top pro today...
I'm just saying most of the people don't need it and when you look at the positive to negative ratio when these people use it I think it is a negative...That is why I posted as I did....
