Trulicity? Advice or informed input please
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about trulicity .75mg? My wife was told by her doc that trulicity .75mg could help with boosting her weight loss and that she could take it once a week for 6 months. From the little bit of reading, I have done it is used to limit how much sugar gets into your blood and helps your pancreas release insulin after eating. Her doctor said there would be no issues with stopping usage after 6 months. She does not have type 2 diabetes and she exercises 5 days a week and is on a 1600 calorie diet. She has done NPC bikini shows in the past and knows how to diet and workout. She took a few years off since competing but now her weight loss has been very slow the past few months. She has been back on a good diet for 3-4 months but has not been able to make any progress.
Im just worried about the long term issues with taking something like this or if there even is any especially when stopping in 6 months or so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with the Drug but my main concern is the fact that it's only been in the market for 5 years. It's not something like Insulin or Advil or Lorazepam that has been out forever with a million clinical trials and textbooks of research.
I would be cautious of long term effects because they are not known yet. 5 years is basically still a virgin in the pharmaceutical world.I no longer check my inbox. If you PM me I will not reply.

Thats my thoughts as well. I have been searching but can't come up with a lot of information. Im not sure if this is like metformin or a completely new animal and honestly idk much about metformin either. I have always been leery of insulin or things that mess with that. Im comfortable with gear and GH but just something about manipulating insulin scares me and I dont know a lot about it.

Before pushing a pharmaceutical agenda, I would be running a battery of tests to determine the root cause. Thyroid, hormone panel, vitamin d3, the whole works.
Women who compete are notorious for becoming hypothyroid because dieting down and reducing body fat negative impacts a woman's cycle which causes a cascade of problems. Then if the competitor was using T3/T4/Clen they end up with a rebound effect if they don't come off properly.I no longer check my inbox. If you PM me I will not reply.
