    Trap/neck

When I do traps lately, the base of my neck gets numb and warm. I have always kinda had this problem, and started noticing it years ago when i drive for long distances, just from my hand being up on the stering wheel. In the past when I have this at the gym I just chill on traps and it goes away. The problem is my traps are finally looking good and I don't wanna chill. Also, I'm on cycle so kinda wanna take advantage of the growth.

Any opinions on what is going on in my neck are welcome

There are lots and lots of nerves that run through your neck that originate from the brain stem, you also have your brachial plexus(bundles of nerves) in your upper body near your armpit area. Nerves from c4-t1 make up this plexus. So you are most likely impinging a nerve during your exercise which is causeing the numbness! A GOOD chiropractor can help with this, and will keep your neck aligned. However, BEWARE OF THE SHMUCKS! There are many chiropractors out there that are crap...luckily my uncle in NH is one of the best and has shown me what a real chiropractor can do!!
