how about peelings? TCA, Glycolic peeling and the new Olay Serum + Total Effects???......
I've tried microdermabrasion It feels great after a series of completed program (like for example 6 sessions) and still after a month or two the previous state of your facial scars and pores returns.
Fraxel is it really a miracle or a hoax?
Whats the fact about cetaphil and baking soda?

lol @ SVT Muscle... I think microdermabrasion adds to scarring IMO only.. EJusicer have you gone through a series of microdermabrasion? If so, what are the interval days? (e.g 2 weeks after or a week after?)

Hi Mizfit... what kind of chemical peels are directed to large pores and acne scars i've been going through a 2week intervals of glycolic peel and so far there are no major improvements...
What chemical peeling ingredient u suggest is the most potent?
And on laser peeling... what kind of laser peeling treatment u suggest that reaches an optimum to confront acne scars and large pores?

As far as $$$ goes, date an esthetician and then the cost isn't very much at all. Only about $20 a session.

I have the same problem. I spoke with my dermatologist who said stay away from the strong peels. It sometimes bleaches your face and leaves a line where the acid ended.

Like what kind of strong peels? I consider microdermabrasion as a form of a very strong peel and chemical wise is glycopeeling? TCA peel? can also be categorized as a strong peel???...

Im currently useing a combination of minomycin tabs and Cetaphil plus clindamycin lotion 1%. You start taking the tabs about 6 weeks before you get on the course. This works well for me and many other's that i know,

Im using minocyclin right now myself (low dose) and use spectra gel to wash my face.
It has made a difference. Unfortunately ican not use topical acne medicines as my skin get's irriated and makes things worse.
Stress lately has cause me to get a few blemishes
Netrogena makes a non chemical peel you can do at home and also has a home versionof the derma brasion.

Well you can't pick your face thats for sure
I wash my face daily with spectra gel, not soap.
I use a netrogena dermabrasion system at home 2 times a week and also just recently purchased an at home chemical peel.
I moisturize with a non clog poring moisturizer - during the day and night as well.
I don't really have seere acne scars though

I recently had laser treatment on my face. Just for non-serious scars from old acne. I only had one treatment, your supposed to have a few in a row. It hurt like hell and i didnt notice much of a difference - maybe a little difference for the better ($300). I think the laser is best for broken blood vessels in your face if you've got that. I might do it again soon - can't decide if it really helped.

Salicylic acid is supposed to be good for large poors - just regular stuff from neutrogena or whatever.
-

Been using salicylic acid from neutrogena's pore refining cleanser dubbed AHA and BHA (Salicylic and Glycolic acid) haven't seen any improvements i even combine it with salicyclic acid toner...
