Recovery time for getting 2 plates and 12 screws removed?
I have 2 plates and 12 screws in my right forearm (1 plate with 6 screws per bone- radius and ulna) from a compound injury about 1.5 years ago. I want to get them removed now because they cause so much pain and my doctor says I don't need them anymore. What type of recovery time will I be looking at with the removal? Will I need any type of a cast since there will be holes in my bones? Also, will I be able to get a prescription for any goods to help combat muscular atrophy while recovering?

Anybody? .... If it is going to be a quick recovery, I am going to get the metal taken out before I start a cycle. If not- I'll leave them in.
