i have small nagging pain on inside of my left lat think it could be kidneys i think the pain is too high to be kidneys am i just paranoid?

Your kidneys are actually higher than most people think, but not as high as your lats, there are other signs that there is a problem with your kidney:

1-Pain or interruption during urinating
2-Darker color urine, the darker means the harder your kidney is working and stressing to do its normal job
3-Shortness of breath
4-Check your blood pressure if its too high or too low
5-Blood in urine
6-Nausea and dizziness or extreme fatigue

If you have any of these other signs plus the pain then you should go to hospital and get a urine analysis and blood and also maybe an ultrasound of the kidneys.

But for starters try drinking a few litres of water and maybe two large beers and see if it goes away in a couple of days. Lots of beer is bad because of the alcohol, but in extreme moderation the barley and acidity of beer cleanse the kidney of very small stones and help it function better.
