    quick knee and back question

so i hyperextended my knee a little over 2 months ago and took it easy for the next month before getting back into my normal workouts. my knee still bothers me sometimes but its not horrible. it just hasnt healed. is the only way to make this knee heal just to completely take time off from everything other than walking around? and how long since its just a minor injury. i dont wanna go to the doctor im just wondering if anyone here has had the same injury and healed it on their own.

also, i threw out my lower back a few weeks ago dead lifting on my last set. it still hurts so how long should i lay off using my lower back to let that heal? thanks guys

when you say you hyperextended it what do you mean? That could mean anything from a little tweak to your knee bending the whole other way.

You are pretty banged up dude I would rest for a bit.

well i am resting right now actually... it ssucks cause im dying to get back into the gym but im taking my time off to heal. i did it playing soccer and i dont believe i tore anything, but it just bent quicly to the locked position and hurt alot. it didnt bend backwards and i was able to walk around the next day or 2 after icing but im not sure if its best to completely stay off it or just use it mildly slowly increasing back to normal
