Joints hurt all over body. Need Some Advice.

So this started about three days ago in my right ankle. Now I have excruciating pain in my toes, both ankles, my knees, elbows, shoulders, wrists, and fingers. It's so bad that I do not want to workout today or even move. My diet is spot on and I get plenty of olive oils, fish oil, and avocados.

Any Ideas what this could be? I've never felt anything like this.

I'm trying a peptide called TB500. just started a log if you are interested.

    also:
    msm - 5 grams a day forever.

you might try oral hyaluronic acid. A little pricey. same stuff they inject into your knee, and it has extreme lubrication properties.

Have you had your uric acid level checked? Might be gout. I know what your thinking only fat people with a horrible diet get gout. Thats not the case my dr thinks I have gout and I've got similar symptoms, but just in wrist and thumb and occassional knee and ankle. My diet is also great, but I have a weakness for all seafood, which is horrible for your uric acid levels, and so is the fish oil. Are you by any chance taking winstrol ,stanozolol ? This stuff killed my joints when I took it. Times I'm following your TB500 log and I will say MSM has helped my knees.

I am not currently on any cycle. However I have been loading creatine. I began loading 2 days before I started having all these joint pains. I have been taking 1 scoops twice a day powder in mouth (about 12 grams total QD) and washing down with water. Now I know there is no direct correlation with creatine monohydrate causing joint pains, however I'm now suspecting it to be the creatine. I do drink the recommended amount of water every day if not more. Any thoughts?

Last night was the worst night yet, my left shoulder and left ankle hurt so bad I could not move. The pain was 9/10, no joke. I got up at 3 pm last night and wobbled over to my cabinet to take some Ib*profen. The pain lessened enough for me to make it to work, Therefore i concluded my joints are inflamed since anti-inflammatory drVgs seemed to work. Also at the end of the night my pillow was soaked with sweat :/.

    Any thoughts.

What the hell guys, No one is suggesting seeking medical attention?

Yes absolutely stop the creatine and any other recent drugs etc that you have started that can be suddenly stopped without causing problems.

Then seek medical attention, for all we know blood test may reveal septic arthritis ( though it is usually concentrated in one joint, widespread joint pain is also seen) which if detected early can be halted with antibiotics before major damage is done.

Pain has gone down dramatically, but I still feel it in my wrists. My fingers and toes feel tight. I do feel much better, however I am going to doctors tomorrow to get blood test done.

I may have been a little harsh in my wording, so I apologize to anyone whom I may have offended as all the advice given was solid. However in a case like this I feel its always a good idea to seek a professional opinion as well.

Never speaking to you again! -- kidding of course. Nice of you to follow up with that post, and I agree with your recommendation to seek medical attention.

At 24 this is not normal as said. Are you seeing any bloat? Have you experienced any joint pain in the past? did you stop the creatine?

I have not experienced any joint pain in past, yes I did stop the creatine a few days ago. The pain is still here, and I have to wait till tomorrow now to see my doctor.

I will admit that he used the words "excruciating pain" and I didn't catch it until I went back up to read it again. I must have skimmed it and thought, "another guy with aching joints."

    Hey Guys!

So my Doctor said I got bit by a spider or some type of bug since the pain started in one area of my body and spread throughout. However, this week I recently started taking my creatine supplement again and I started having joint pains. I am concluding it is the creatine causing the joint issues. So I have went to the store and added Extra Fish oil to my diet, MSM, Glucosamine, and Chondroitin. The pain has virtually subsided. Is there any study out there about creatine causing such stress to the joints?

make sure ur warmed up properly and 5 grams a day of msm like times roman said.

my joints were not that bad. it was only my elbow/triceps. it would ache a little when doing shoulder press /flat press and my wrist would ache when doing tricep cable pull downs with the v bar. after like a month of doing 5 grams of msm a day, i rarely get it.

i also have these hydra acid pills that i got from walmart.

Did the dr mention lyme disease? Thats kind of what I was afraid of when my thumb and wrist starting hurting. I was having other pain as well, knees, back,PT confirmed it was tendonitis and not gout. As for the knees and back it's probably just because I'm working for a living. I'm glad you're doing better. I've never heard of anyone having joint pain from creatine but we are all different and react to chemicals differently.

Yes absolutely this is why I said to stop it immediately, as well as any other recently added meds.

Did you mention to the doc, the relationship between the start of the creatine with the onset of pain? Regardless, the doctor in the routine questions for something like this should have asked about any supps, meds, or herbals, or exposure to pesticides, chemicals as part of a standard intake procedure for this type of thing.

Just goes to show, you can send a moron to med school and you get back a moron with a license to practice medicine LOL

Anyway if you google {creatine causing extreme joint pain} you will find this is a side of creatine for quite a few people.

Seems that in actual medical literature there is not a relationship, kinda makes me wonder if the problem may batch specific and be related to contamination during manufacture or packing and that Trichinella is somehow being introduced. Would be interesting to have someone who is creatine tolerant try your creatine to test this theory...but not me brutha!!
