    Just completed Kidneystone Surgery

Background is I got back to back to back to back Ecoli infections in the blood. They found no reason for it until my abdominal ultrasound and followup CT. Turns out I had a stone the size of a USA Quarter (but round). One of the largest they have ever seen in a healthy person. Took four trips to have it removed...can only stay under anesthesia for 2-hours at a time.
A month out now and wow...feel so much better physically. Turns out that kidneystones are hiding places for bacteria. Glad that it is over but wanted to pass on a rule of thumb the doctor informed me of.

2.5L of water a day is enough to keep kidneystones away.

Glad all is well now man, i wish i had the option for surgery when i had kidney stones, got them twice and had to pass them the terrible way, worst pain of my life. They gave me medicine that was supposed to help break them up but it didn't and man it was the worst experience both times, i couldn't imagine one the size of a quarter, good you got that all taken care of, my biggest fear in life is having to go through that again

Lemon juice man! (Not Lemonade). Most experienced Ketoers drink it regularly since they are theoretically at an increased risk of kidney stones.

Also, balancing your electrolyte ratio will help. Up potassium and magnesium and lower sodium.
