Carpal tunnel surgery.
I've been fighting carpal tunnel since the early 90s. Both hands It's getting more and more painful. Doctors want to do carpal tunnel release surgery.
Can anyone who has had this done answer:
1 Did you regain full strength in the hand?
2 If so, how long did it take?
3 How long after the procedure could you lift weights again?
Also have been reading that around 50% or more of CTR patients have it done again on the same hand within 5 to 7 years or so, or just don't really get the relief expected.
TIA.

Hey there! My dad who is 68 had it done about 2 years ago. First the left hand then the right hand a few months later. He was lifting weights within a couple months of the surgery and has had no complaints so far.
