    Smile New to my first forum

    Hello everyone.

    This is the first forum I actually registered on. I registered because I find the topic of steroid use fascinating and find people that are honest about their use unlike fake naturals running around.

    I'm 18 and I've been on a 5x5 type routine to build overall strength for half a year now. I've no desire to use steroids at this age obviously, I'm just curious about the cycles etc so when I make the decision to use gear five or ten years from now, I'd be truly well-informed about the risks.

    Before weight training I've been doing (and still doing) MMA and Muay Thai. I did a lot of cardio back then, and I was wondering why I still had a fat gut even though I'm 52 kg at 166 cm. I figured that maybe it's because I have low muscle mass but high body fat, putting me into the 'skinny-fat' category, possibly the worst category for building muscle and strength.

    Now after six months of weight training I'm at 64 kg. I gained some body fat, no big deal as I'm currently doing a clean bulk and eating a moderate carb, high fat and moderate protein diet.

    I mainly do compounds and here is my progress after six months:

    SQ: from nothing to 100 kg for 5x5
    BP: from nothing to 48 kg for 3x5 (I'm still not sure why my bench is so low, I need help with this)
    DL: from nothing to 115 kg (I did my first deload today)
    OP: from nothing to 36 kg (Again not my strong point, I need help with this)
    Rows: from nothing to 60 kg

    The thing I've noticed whilst weight training is that my work mate has been giving me the cold shoulder lately. I don't know why, maybe its because he's jealous or found my new self-confidence aggravating. Needless to say I'm not the one to fight over small things.

    Welcome. Pressing was never my strong suit either. Make sure your grip is not too wide, and start building your triceps with close grip presses. Once I found my sweet spot for grip width, which is much narrower now than before, my bench has gone up substantially, and my shoulder joints are in much better condition.
