Intro from gold's in venice.
Hi,
I'm on here cause i need help with my program.
foundation:
dr prescribed hormone therapy with blood test screening
200 mg cyp/week
HCG every other day 5 weeks on 2 weeks off
0.5 mg Anastrozole EOD.
6'1" 207lbs
In 3 months I've gained 9lbs. Weight lifting: 4rep-8rep range on all exercises; 8-12 sets each body part once per week; No cardio/loose diet.
NOW:
For 2 weeks I've changed my program and hope to maintain it. (but I'm feeling sluggish and more sore)
6 days/week I do 45-60 mins cardio in the morning on an empty stomach and strong coffee heart rate 110-120 bpm
6 days/week In the evening I train 1 body part/workout 10 rep-12 rep range 3sets 2-3 exercises. I do another 20-30 mins of cardio. bpm same as above
NTRS/day
1lb 90% lean ground beef
6-10 eggs (3 yolks)
2 cans tuna or 8oz cod.
1 cup rice uncooked
2 cups lentils uncooked
1 cup oatmeal uncooked
1 tall glass of home made juice :1 apple, 1 cucumber, 1 stalk celery.
about 1/2 cup olive oil
My pre workout pick me up is a can of coke and various no sugar NO2 supplements.
I drink alcohol daily. I'm trying to restrict it to weekends but I'm having a hard time with it. (think this is the culprit)
I'm probably about 18% body fat. I can't cut my waist line down.
Any suggestions? I hate my belly!!
I have a nice build and my height helps hide my stomach, but I hate it. I used to be a muscular triathlete, but i don't have the time to train 5-6 hrs a day, anymore. Even if i did I'm too lazy now to pursue it.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.Last edited by kaboosh; 06-30-2016 at 07:27 PM.

Your not getting any results because your taking too much anastrozole and your estradiol is most likely low. We now know E2 is just as important for fat loss as T. Actually recent studies on athletes prove it to be more important.
So your estrogen is crushed. Doesn't sound like your doc has much experience.
How much HCG are you taking?

0.25 mg diluted.
dr's rx was based on my blood tests. I had been on roids for 3 years straight then went cold turkey. After 3 months of lethargy I went to this highly recommended sports dr. I workout at Gold's in Venice and most of the roiders goes to him. Blood tests: testosterone levels were almost non existant, my estrogens were through the roof.
I'm off the HCG . how much anastrozole do you think i should take?

Sorry I don't know what you mean by 0.25mg diluted.
I thought you said 0.5mg QOD which is 1.75 mg a week (actually 1.5mg one week and 2mg the next). Most people will not need more than 1mg a week and even that is high. Rarely, usually someone with really high body-fat%, will need as much as 1.5mg but even then they will usually be in the teens on a sensitive E2 blood draw.
So we see this a lot. This is because much of the literature shows high dosing for anastrozole, especially in females. The truth is we need small amounts, not so much when starting TRT initially because the climb in serum TT levels can cause increased aroma, but later on once levels have stabilized usually even 0.25mg per week is enough.
Its very common to not be able to lose fat when your E2 is very low, so this is our gut feeling.
Also when you say tested estrogens, was he testing E2? We see this a lot too, doctors test overall estrogen and not E2 specifically. Have seen many guys with high numbers in total E and low E2.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Sorry I see now you mean HCG for diluted 0.25ml. I assume 250IU every other day. Not bad there.Last edited by IncreaseMyT; 06-30-2016 at 08:04 PM.
