Why do you have to use clomid and nolva
I was just wondering if someone could tell me why you have to run both clomid and nolva for pct if they both do the same thing just in different ways
-
Exactly.
They are both serms, but the way they work are different.(though that can be confusing if you read the chem profiles)
Example: You can run nolva during a cycle, but not clomid.Clomid has different actions in the body, it goes about stimulating natty test differently.
That's why it is used in conjunction with nolva. Think of them as brother and sister.
If your cycle was mild, you may get away with running one or the other, but it is NOT ADVISABLE to do so.
Swifto, is the PCT guru around here, he can explain the chemical differences in exact detail, as could some of the mods/vets.

There's actually not a great deal of difference. Some prefer Clomid (me) others prefer Tamox. You'll end up with the same metabolits from both IMHO. It comes down to personal preference, I think.
Both are pretty bad on your eyes, so (now) I preffer 2nd Gen SERMs such as Toremifene. Its also excellent at restarting the HPTA.
