Why not Arimidex?

I was wondering why doesn't everybody run a-dex on cycle. It seems like it would be a good thing to do. It keeps bloat to a minimum and helps prevent gyno. So why doesn't everybody just run it on cycle? What could it hurt? I'm just curious to know why everybody doesn't run it on cycle because it seems like it would be the safe thing to do, but I don't know. Just wondering if someone could enlighten me.

No, not exactly.

You can use it in pct, as it gets your natty test going, but also in your cycle.

It has other properties, just not an AI.

It's not cheap either.

There are some good generics floating around.

Depends on the cycle your running.

I would run it if I was doing a highly automatizing cycle at .25mgs ed.

This prevents gyno, but knocks estrogen down considerably.

Your question is multi-faceted to answer.

Gyno is what most are concerned about.

Then estrogen rebound can occur from AI's.

I tell people to run nolva @ 10 mgs ed in this case, but nolva is a serm.

It's confusing at first, but the best thing to do is to read the posts and profiles here.

So, I would answer your initial question as a "yes".

Well I guess I will just have to experiment with it on my next couple cycles to see how it effects me. I guess if I had to choose to use arimidex to prevent gyno and bloating even if it meant sacraficing some gains I would.

You can.

But estro rebound may be an issue.

Alot of this is an experienced based answer.

Merc has it nailed down, but some people react completely different than others do.

I am not gyno prone.

But, some guys are.

I run nolva during my cycles as a preventive measure.

But have adex and definitely letro on hand.

Some run adex because of the gear they are running, or there previous experience with there own body's response to them.

So the first signs of gyno while on should you use and ai like dex or can you use a serm like tamox?

You can use nolva.The best way to combat gyno is to prevent it.I would use nolva right away @ 40 mgs minimum ed.But if that does not work, you can implement adex or letro.letro has more sides than adex for most people.But it will start to reveres the gyno.Also, running a serm along side like nolva usually prevents gyno from starting and controls the acne also.(read about serms and AI's ).Don't run nolva with an AI, meaning, if you are running a serm with your cycle and want to jump on a AI, then dump the serm.Estrogen is a enemy, but a friend that we need to build muscle also.Only sides I get from any gear or PCT is acne.So accutane is a good choice for this.Hope this helps you out.

If you start to see signs on gyno then definitely hit the nolva as fast as possible, then your your still having troubles after the cycle add some letro to your pct. Letro is strong and may have some harsh sides but it works very good against gyno problems.

Hey Titanium or Merc, if you start a-dex on the first day of your cycle and end it the day before your pct, assuming your pct has nolva, would the nolva counteract the estro rebound?

You mean just using NOLVA only for a pct ?? Nolva is a SERM .. It binds estrogen at the receptor ( so it wont lower estrogen levels) it just keeps the receptor bond ..

A-Dex is a AI ... Which inhibits the conversion of test into estrogen .. And can drastically reduce estrogen levels ...

Dont know if you ever saw this but heres a good read on Ai's and SERMs ..

Now, I'm really confused!! I have a guy at my gym who is an amateur bodybuilder and is heading for an NPC show to try and get his pro card. You can imagine that this guy is a monster.

He told me that Arimidex is the one that should be used ON CYCLE to reduce estrogen and not affect the gains. He told me never to use Nolvadex , because it would block the estrogen receptors, plus the androgen receptors, and it would minimize the gains.

I don't understand!!!
