    Non-steroid user, pressing gyno question

Ok, hello all. I think I have a very interesting story and I desperately need advice. (sorry, I had to use some odd phrases to get around the spam filter)

So when I was about 14 or 15 I developed gynecomastia in JUST my left breast. Hard gland etc. Really fed me up for years. Like 'you guys know', kind of fed up. Scared to take my shirt off in public. Finally came to terms with it and it's really gone down over the years (sort of shrunk and flattened to where it's pretty unnoticeable). The right one filled out with a bit of fat but no gland, so I was symmetrical.

The key thing was that M-J was involved. I was smoking some M-J at the time when this occurred.

After years of doing just fine (i'm 23. Probably 18-23 as ok years) I came into some M-J about 5 days ago and decided to give it a shot, having thought that I could handle it now. I ended up smoking for two nights in a row due to a friend coming over second night.

My right breast starts burning and is swelling up the day after smoking for two days (as is my left, but no burning - anyway, not much more tissue to add there so whatever). No gland (yet...not probing too deeply as don't want to stimulate it). Not being the noob I was back then, I realize that shit is going down. I give it one day. Next day, sleep in hoping it will sort itself out. Get up and ball up to go to the walk-in clinic down the street. The guy is a fing moron and tells me to wait it out - spews some hippocratic oath crap about how dangerous a-dex is and how i should come back in six months. I say that I could wake up any day with a gland and then I'm fed. Luckily he refunds my money.

So that this is the night of that day. Tomorrow, I'm getting some stuff no matter what. It will be day three and I'm fing proactive. My life is too short to relive my teenage crap.

My question is just - t--am--oxifin or f---em--ara? Realize that there is no gland yet, just swelling and tenderness. I know the breast tissue is growing in my right breast (it's gotten as big as my left is usually with smaller nipple due to no gland yet). Time is of the fing essence here and I'm glad I know what I do and am proactive, but I need some concrete advice.

Thank you all so much in advance, as these type of boards are obviously the best place to talk about this kind of stuff as you all know soo much. Probably more than the dumb gynecomastia surgeons over on the 'gyn---oo....com' type forums.

Focus on post #10 and #14 in the link below.

Also, in the short term I would tend to agree with the "fing moron" and give you body time to reach homeostasis. You have introduced a foreign compound...m-j. Your body is trying to deal with and clear it from your system and before you go pumping MORE compounds into your body (which by the way, you have no clue as to how they will interact with the m-j but almost all prescription drugs have warnings against use with alcohol and recreational drugs) you should let your body do its work. The terminal half life of m-j is widely varied depending upon initial strength of the drug, and the amount used. So a range of ~ 20 hours up to 10 days is a possibility for the HALF LIFE of m-j. And those aren't etched in stone either. So yeah, I agree with the guy at the clinic....give yourself some time. More drugs at this point isn't your answer. They will still be available at a later time if you need them.

Discuss Tamoxifen usage with your doc. One of the indications for males is gyno. (had the same problem, but mine was bilateral, and not due to MJ)

and tamox can reverse the growth of gyno, and much better than using Adex/ or any other aromatase inhibitor.

To be thorough, request some bloodwork done to check your hormone levels.
Testosterone , estrogen, prolactin, thyroid panel would be good for the hormones ( along with the usuals, aka CMP)
